Philadelphia residents warned about chemical spill in river PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Philadelphia residents are being told that they may want to drink only bottled water following a chemical spill into the Delaware River in neighboring Bucks County.Bucks County health officials said Sunday that a leak late Friday evening at the Trinseo Altuglas chemical facility in Bristol Township spilled between 8,100 and 12,000 gallons of a water-based latex finishing solution into the river. Officials said it is non-toxic to humans and no known adverse health effects have been reported in the county.Mike Carroll, deputy managing director for Philadelphia’s Office of Transportation, Infrastructure and Sustainability, said there had been no sign of contaminants in city water but officials “cannot be 100% certain” traces won’t show up Sunday afternoon. Man dies after car ends up wedged under semitrailer, Aurora PD says AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) -- A 58-year-old man died after losing control of his vehicle and ending up wedged under a semitrailer Saturday night on Interstate 225 in Aurora, police said.The Aurora Police Department said around 10:50 p.m., the man was driving a Lexus sedan recklessly while southbound on I-225 near the E. Mississippi Avenue exit. He was driving at a high speed and attempted to pass another vehicle on the right shoulder. Video shows deadly hit-and-run on Federal Boulevard He lost control and drove up the right grass embankment before veering back onto the road and under a semitrailer, police said.The driver of the semi was not injured.Southbound I-225 was closed for over six hours following the crash but was reopened shortly after 5 a.m.APD said this is the 10th traffic-related death in Aurora this year.
