DENVER (KDVR) -- Responding to homeless encampments in Denver is estimated by the city auditor to have cost more than $13 million between 2019 and 2022. That total is likely higher because it does not include expenses from the Denver Police Department. The office is calling for better accounting by city agencies as leaders scramble to come up with solutions. GREELEY, Colo. (KDVR) — The Greeley Police Department is asking for assistance in locating a missing woman.Erica Torrez, 34, was reported missing on April 19. She was last seen that morning around 5 a.m. at her place of work, located on the 2000 block of 9th Street.According to police, Torrez may be driving a gray 2015 Subaru Impreza hatchback with Colorado license plate CEE-I77.Police did not include what Torrez was wearing, or details of her height, weight, current hair color or eye color in the press release. AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — An American Airlines worker died Thursday after being injured at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, according to airport officials.The worker was injured in the area where planes pull up to the terminal, a spokesperson at the airport in Austin, Texas, said.Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services said it was called shortly after 2 p.m. and found a person dead from “traumatic injuries.”An Austin Police spokeswoman told reporters that the man was driving a service vehicle that struck a jet bridge.
