ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The 7th annual CDTA Pink Bus Pull took place on Friday. The bus pull involves teams of eight pulling a CDTA bus 30 feet as fast as possible. It is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society's Men Wear Pink campaign. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! The Albany Fire Department defended their title and won again this year. Albany Police Recruits came in second place, and the Siena College baseball team came in third. So far this year, CDTA has raised more than $20,000.

ST. LOUIS - Hundreds gathered at Topgolf's new Midtown location for its grand opening celebrations Friday evening. The new venue is expected to draw at least 600,000 participants each year, generate $2 million in annual sales tax, and create around 500 new jobs. Topgolf has a wide selection of fifteen golf games that utilize mirco-chipped balls and toptracer technology to keep track of every shot. The facility provides free Wi-Fi, a 28-foot video wall, more than 200 HDTvs, plus a bar and restaurant. “Anybody can come to a Topgolf and have fun," said Tommy Fernandez. "You don’t have to be a pro golfer or never played golf before. ST. LOUIS - We've made it to the final weekend of the regular season in St. Louis CITY SC's first year. A two-day block party adds to the excitement as St. Louis gears up for its first MLS playoff run. Fans said this season the team has turned St. Louis into a soccer city. "It's been amazing. We make it a ritual to have soccer Saturdays at home every week, where we get the game food and the game on. If we miss a Saturday, we watch it the next day," said Lauren Champion. Police investigating homicide in North Hollywood

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating a homicide in North Hollywood Friday evening.Police responded to the 6500 block of Riverton Avenue around 7:45 p.m. for a report of an assault with a deadly weapon and shots fired.Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim of a shooting who was pronounced dead at the scene.Details are limited at this time, but police have confirmed to KTLA that the incident is being investigated as a homicide.There is no suspect information at this time.This deadly shooting comes just days after three people were shot and killed in front of taco restaurant in North Hollywood.The suspects in that deadly shooting have not yet been apprehended, police said.

Extremely rare case of dengue confirmed in Pasadena

Pasadena public health officials confirmed the first case of dengue, a mosquito-borne illness, in California on Friday. Officials say that it is an extremely rare case that was locally transmitted and is not associated with international travel. Dengue is a viral infection that is contracted through bites from infected Aedes mosquitoes. The virus is typically seen in travelers who have visited countries where dengue is present.  Getting bit? Mosquitos thriving in post-Hilary SoCal Pasadena Public Health Department and the San Gabriel Valley Mosquito and Vector Control District are taking specific measures such as creating traps to assess and test the mosquito population. Protesters demand safety improvements along PCH where 4 Pepperdine students were killed

Community members gathered in Malibu Friday to protest in demand of safety improvements along the Pacific Coast Highway where four Pepperdine University students were struck and killed by a speeding car earlier this week.During the demonstration at the intersection of PCH and Topanga Canyon Boulevard, protestors called for various improvements on the roadway, including speed cameras, lower speed limits and more active patrols by law enforcement.Ted Vaill, a Malibu resident and one of the organizers of the protest, said he's lived in the area for more than 50 years and has his own number of close calls. SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- It's been over a decade since there was a world title fight in San Francisco. It is considered a risk for a boxing promoter to bring a big fight to a city that is not typically known for hosting major events -- in contrast to Las Vegas, Los Angeles or New York. However, it seems that the decision to bring the WBC super lightweight world championship to The City will pay off. Nearly 9,000 tickets have been sold for Devin Haney's title fight against Regis Prograis at Chase Center on Dec. 9, event promoter Eddie Hearn told reporters in San Francisco earlier this week. Hearn added those numbers are from the first week since tickets went on sale.
