JUST IN: Hillary Clinton Says To Follow The Money Trail While Speaking Out About Trump’s Affinity For Dictators Like Putin

Over the weekend, Hillary Clinton called on officials to “follow the money” with respect to President Donald Trump’s odd relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

While speaking at an event in Mumbai, India, Hillary Clinton was asked about the President’s relationship with Putin, which has come under great scrutiny, especially after the revelation that the Russians did in fact, attempt to interfere with the 2016 U.S. Presidential election.

“Trump does have quite an affinity for dictators. He really likes their authoritarian posturing and behavior,” Clinton said during the event, according to The Washington Post.

“He does have a pre-existing attitude of favorability toward these dictators, but I think it’s more than that with Putin and Russia,”  Clinton added.

Pressing Clinton a little further on the subject, the host of the event wanted to know whether Clinton believes Russia has “something” on President Trump.

“Well, we’ll find out. We’ll find out,” Clinton said. “Follow the money.”

Special counsel for the investigation into possible Russian collusion, Robert Mueller, has been busy questioning witnesses as to Trump’s business dealings with Russia as part of his investigative team’s probe into Russian interference in the election process.

Just last week, it was reported that Mueller is also investigating a letter that Trump wrote to Putin, back in 2013. Trump personally invited the Russian president to the Miss Universe pageant in Moscow; and that particular letter is the first documented instance in which Trump tried to reach out to Putin, personally.

Clinton added, during the weekend event, that she does not believe America deserved to have someone such as Donald Trump as President.

Clinton also briefly addressed her failed 2016 presidential campaign, conveying that if “people were looking for a reality TV campaign, maybe I should have given them more entertainment.”

“I’m the mother who says, ‘Eat your spinach; you’ll grow up strong.’ Someone else is saying, ‘Eat all the fast food and the ice cream you can possibly stick in your mouth,'” she said.

Do you think that Hillary Clinton is right? Will Mueller be following the money trail?
