Rider Fatally Struck in Motorcycle Crash on Sossaman Road [Mesa, AZ] One Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Accident on Ray RoadMESA, AZ (March 8, 2023) – Friday afternoon, one rider was pronounced dead after a motorcycle crash on Sossaman Road.Dispatchers responded to the scene at the intersection of Ray and Sossaman Road on February 17th near Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.Per reports, the driver of a truck attempted to turn left onto southbound Sossaman Road and struck the motorcyclist. Upon impact, the rider was ejected from the motorcycle onto the road, causing head trauma.Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the rider dead at the scene.
