Trail sexual predator suspect felt “compelled” to commit lewd acts toward female hikers, affidavit says A man suspected of indecent exposure and other sex crimes on trails in Jefferson County foothill parks told investigators that he felt “compelled” to commit the crimes, according to an arrest affidavit.Glenn Thompson Braden, 20, of Evergreen, faces multiple charges including five counts of indecent exposure and three counts of unlawful sexual contact, all first-degree misdemeanors, according to the affidavit.Braden, was arrested Tuesday night by sheriff’s deputies following incidents near the Beaver Brook Trail at Stapleton Park where he is suspected of exposing himself and chasing women who were hiking alone. Oakland police identify man who was recently shot and killed in front of his wife OAKLAND — Police here have identified a 46-year-old man who was shot and killed outside of a local gas station, in front of his wife.Andre Stevenson, of Oakland, was shot and killed by an unknown assailant at around 8:15 p.m. July 27, on the 9800 block of Edes Avenue, near a 76 Gas station.Police have not announced any arrests, nor publicly revealed a suspected motive. They say, though, that Stevenson appeared to be targeted.Stevenson had just purchased something at the convenience store and was walking back to his Chrysler 300 when at least one person pulled alongside him in another car and opened fire, authorities said.
