NEW YORK (AP) — Elon Musk said Sunday that he plans to change the logo of Twitter to an “X” from the bird, marking what would be the latest big change since he bought the social media platform for $44 billion last year.In a series of posts on his Twitter account starting just after 12 a.m. ET, Twitter’s owner said that he’s looking to make the change worldwide as soon as Monday. “And soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds,” Musk wrote on his account.Earlier this month, Musk put new curfews on his digital town square, a move that came under sharp criticism that it could drive away advertisers and undermine its cultural influence as a trendsetter.In May, Musk hired longtime NBC Universal executive Linda Yaccarino as Twitter’s CEO in a move to win back advertisers. TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Militants shot and killed four highway policemen Sunday in southeast Iran, state media reported.State TV said the officers were on a routine mission on a road linking Khash and Taftan towns some 1200 kilometers (745 miles) southeast of the capital, Tehran, in restive Sistan and Baluchistan province, when they were “attacked by terrorists,” a reference to separatist groups. YAOUNDE, Cameroon (AP) — At least nine people were killed and nearly three dozen injured in a building collapse, Cameroonian authorities said on Sunday.A four-story building collapsed onto a smaller one early Sunday morning in Douala, the country’s economic center and largest city, 130 miles (210 km) west of the capital, Yaounde.“The casualty figures may be higher. AUSTIN (KXAN) — Child care in Travis County is more expensive than anywhere else in the state, according to the National Database of Childcare Prices (NDCP), a new data source released this year by the U.S Department of Labor Women's Bureau. With 2,360 counties — including the 254 counties in Texas — represented in the NDCP, the new data provide the most comprehensive federal source of child care prices at the county level in the United States, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. ST. LOUIS - Police recently arrested suspects in connection with two St. Louis recent deadly shootings investigated as homicides. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department announced the arrests of Mohammed Abdi and Tiffany Richardson on Saturday. 3-year-old boy from southern Illinois advances in 2023 USA Mullet Competition Prosecutors have charged Abdi with first-degree murder and armed criminal action. He is accused of fatally shooting Jametric Steele on July 7 in the parking lot of a QuikTrip on Gravois Road. Prosecutors have charged Richardson with two counts of unlawful use of a weapon (shooting from a vehicle) and two counts of armed criminal action. She is accused of shooting two and killing a 52-year-old man, identified as George Robins, in the 1300 block of Shawmut Place. Homicide detectives with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department are handling both investigations. FOX 2 will update this story with more information as it becomes available.

Then we're set to have mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies and seasonable temperatures around 90. Another slight chance of isolated showers and storms is expected by mid to late afternoon and early evening. Anything that bubbles up will diminish by around sunset. Monday night, we are watching the chance of a complex of storms impacting some of the region into early Tuesday.
