Park won the Class 3A, Section 3 final with a 1-0 victory over Rosemount Tuesday night.The win comes as a bit of an upset. The two teams met earlier in the season, a meeting that resulted with Rosemount dominating and taking the victory 6-0. Rosemount came into Tuesday’s championship game with a record of 12-3-2; Park 10-7-0.The first half was a battle of defenses, with neither team scoring before the halftime break. Both teams had a couple shots on goal in the first half — Rosemount even had a couple of attempts go off the goalposts, but neither offense could make it happen in the first 40 minutes.The 0-0 stalemate was broken in the 47th minute when Wolfpack senior midfielder Noah Haupt scored after his own deflected penalty kick rebounded back to him. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Those looking to get in on New York's cannabis industry now have more time to apply. The Cannabis Control Board extended the deadline for adult use applications to Dec. 18. St. Louis County Council passes tax freeze for seniors

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Senior citizens living in St. Louis County will see a tax freeze on their property taxes starting next year. County council members voted to approve the freeze this evening, with certain conditions attached to the bill.County council members said during Tuesday's meeting they are working together to find compromises to get seniors relief in the form of a tax freeze.Some of those compromises include a $550,000 cap, raising the age for eligible seniors to 67, and adding a sunset clause to the bill, meaning the council can decide to change the bill at any point.Not everyone agrees with passing the bill.

Colorado won’t officially join the Big 12 Conference until next summer, but the process of making the transition is already underway.Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark attended CU’s football game against Stanford on Friday at Folsom Field and said he’s been impressed with what’s coming into the conference next summer with CU, Arizona, Arizona State and Utah.“Since I’ve been in the role as commissioner, I’ve been really impressed by going from campus to campus and the investments that are being made in affording student athletes to be the best version of themselves,” Yormark told BuffZone. “You know, the brick and mortar part of it plays a huge role.
