Stock market today: Wall Street drifts as stocks continue to follow the bond market’s lead NEW YORK (AP) — Wall Street is drifting Monday, continuing a monthslong run where it’s slavishly followed the cue of the bond market.The S&P 500 was 0.2% lower in morning trading, coming off its worst week in a month. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 90 points, or 0.3%, as of 10:33 a.m. Eastern time, and the Nasdaq composite was 0.1% lower.Rapidly rising yields in the bond market have been knocking stock prices lower since the summer, and Treasury yields were swinging. Early Monday morning, the yield on the 10-year Treasury briefly topped 5.02% to touch its highest level since 2007. That helped drive the S&P 500 to an early loss of 0.8%.But the 10-year yield then eased back to 4.92%, compared with 4.91% late Friday, which helped stocks to recover their early losses. More than a dozen indicted for stealing 59 cars from DIA, other nearby areas DENVER (KDVR) — Following a large investigation, 13 people were indicted on 121 counts related to alleged motor vehicle thefts and burglaries at Denver International Airport, Adams County and in other areas throughout the metro. According to the 17th Judicial District Attorney's Office, the 13 suspects stole cars from February 2022 to March 2023. Some of the vehicles were used in burglaries by smashing through the front of businesses. The suspects would allegedly place straps around ATMs and pull the machines using the cars.According to the DA, Ford F-150 Raptors were the preferred vehicle. MDFR execute technical rescue after person falls from roof in NW Miami-Dade Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) units responded to a neighborhood in Northwest Miami-Dade after a person fell from a roof. The situation unfolded at a house on Northwest 82nd Circle Court, near Northwest 192nd Street, Monday morning. Live video footage showed the two-story house’s roof enveloped in a white plastic covering, normally indicating the structure had a leak. According to SkyForce’s Ralph Rayburn, a person who was on the second-floor roof somehow fell onto the first-floor roof and broke both their legs. Rescue crews were seen on the scene as they executed a technical rescue to get the victim off the roof. A helicopter landed on a nearby path of land to airlift the person to the hospital, as his situation was considered a trauma alert.
