One injured after a stabbing at Ramen Bar in Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) — The Pittsfield Police Department was sent to Thistle & Mirth on West Street for reports of a stabbing Wednesday night. When officers arrived at around 9:40 p.m., they saw evidence of a stabbing but no victim, according to the Pittsfield Police Department. (BCN) -- Bay Area Indigenous leaders and community members plan to convene at the intersection of Fourth Street and Hearst Avenue in Berkeley on Friday morning in an expression of support for Palestine, to raise awareness of indigenous ancestors buried at two locations, and to protest further development of the area.The three-mile walk takes place annually the day after Thanksgiving and is referred to as the Shellmound to Shellmound Prayer Walk.The walk begins at the West Berkeley Shellmound, a 5,700-year-old sacred Ohlone burial ground, and goes to the Emeryville Shellmound, another sacred burial ground now covered by the Bay Street Mall. Oakland police investigating injury shooting south of Lake Merritt

(KRON) -- The Oakland Police Department was notified of a victim of a gunshot wound who walked into an area hospital early Thursday morning.Investigators responding to the hospital just after 1:30 a.m. determined the shooting had occurred on the 90 block of East 10th Street, south of Lake Merritt and Lake Merritt Boulevard, OPD said. Officers reported to the scene, where evidence of a shooting was located, according to police. Construction crew has $5K worth of stolen tools returned after Pleasanton police bust Police canvassed the area for witnesses and surveillance video. LIVINGSTON, Ky. (AP) — Rail operator CSX said Thursday that a chemical fire at a Kentucky train derailment that caused evacuations has been extinguished.CSX spokesperson Bryan Tucker said in a brief email that “the fire is completely out.” He said that authorities and CSX officials are evaluating when to encourage displaced residents to return home, and they will release more information later Thursday.The CSX train derailed around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday near Livingston, a remote town with about 200 people in Rockcastle County.
