Joe Biden’s Genuine Moment With Homeless Man Fills The Nation With Hope

“Character is about what you do when no one is watching,” wrote the man who took and posted the viral photo of former Vice President Joe Biden talking with a homeless man in Washington, DC.

Biden attended a movie in Georgetown with his granddaughter and was photographed by Paul Equale. He posted the image to Facebook, where it has been shared over 121,000 times. Equale wrote,

Joe Biden took his granddaughter to the movies in Georgetown last night…..on his way out he stopped to speak w/ a homeless man. A bystander took this candid shot. Character is about what you do when no one is watching.

A report earlier this month said Biden is moving closer to a 2020 run for president. Close aids told Politico they are preparing for a number of scenarios ahead of a possible campaign announcement.

The former vice president is “thinking through a million unconventional options, because there is an acknowledgment that this could be an unconventional campaign,” one person close to the discussions said.
