Violent collision flips St. Louis police vehicle; officers not seriously injured ST. LOUIS – Two St. Louis police officers were not seriously injured after their vehicle was flipped over following a violent collision at a north city intersection.The crash happened just after 8:30 p.m. in The Ville neighborhood, at North Sarah Street and St. Louis Avenue.Police claim a white Nissan was traveling north on Sarah, blew through a stop sign, and smashed into a squad car traveling west on St. Louis.The force of the impact rolled the police car onto its roof, coming to a rest in front of a convenience store.The driver of the Nissan was not seriously injured. A blood alcohol test will be administered.

County Authorities are searching for a young mother and her baby after they disappeared in South Los Angeles on Sunday.The critically missing juveniles were identified as Nevaeh Lorane Martinez, 13, and her two-week-old son, D’Angelo Hill. They were last seen on Dec. 10 on the 1000 block of W. 100th Street around noontime, according to the L.A. Downtown DC businesses concerned about upcoming Metro Red Line partial closure Those who run theaters, restaurants and retail stores in D.C. are concerned about Metro partially closing the Red Line downtown during the height of the holiday season, but Metro said it’s the best time to get the important work done.To repair tracks and tunnels, Red Line service will be halted between Dupont Circle and Gallery Place from Monday, Dec. 18, to Saturday, Dec. 30.
