I hope you’re all ready for several new episodes of the Draymond Green Show podcast.Because the star of the show is going to be taking some time away from his day job.Green’s chokehold of Rudy Gobert in Tuesday’s Warriors loss to the Timberwolves was, as Green would say on the show, “absolutely incredible.” His textbook form and his dragging of the 7-foot-1 center down the court would make a UFC grappler envious.https://i.giphy.com/media/bn7M8LSMz9RAMUAymi/giphy.mp4 That chokehold is also well beyond the scope of the sport of basketball, and the NBA will justifiably suspend Green before Thursday’s game with the Thunder.A suspension is coming — on that, there’s consensus. How long that suspension will be is anyone’s guess as of Wednesday morning. It’s impossible for you, me, or NBA commissioner Adam Silver to be objective regarding Green. Not after 12 seasons in the league. Not after that many direct shots to opponents’ ...What to watch: ‘Monarch’ gives MonsterVerse a sorely needed update

By Najib Jobain, Jack Jeffrey and Samy Magdy | Associated PressKHAN YOUNIS, Gaza Strip — Israeli troops on Wednesday stormed into Gaza’s largest hospital, searching for traces of Hamas inside and beneath the facility, where newborns and hundreds of other patients have suffered for days without electricity and other basic necessities as fighting raged outside.Details from the raid remained sketchy, but officials from Israel and Gaza presented different accounts of what was happening at Shifa Hospital in Gaza City: The Israeli army released video showing soldiers carrying boxes labeled as “baby food” and “medical supplies,” while health officials talked of terrified staff and patients as troops moved through the buildings. After encircling Shifa for days, Israel faced pressure to prove its claim that Hamas had turned the hospital into a command center, using the patients, staff and civilians sheltering there to provide cover for its militants — part of Isr...Sale closed in Los Gatos: $5.6 million for a four-bedroom home

Elementary school children in the town of Lebanon will be able to join the After School Satan Club starting Dec. 1.According to June Everett of Colorado, campaign director for the clubs, the Satan Club was requested by a parent from Lebanon Elementary School as an alternative to the Good News Club that meets there. It’s sponsored by the Satanic Temple, an atheist group.Everett said it’s the first Satan Club in Connecticut.“This particular parent was aware of the Good News Club and did not feel comfortable sending her children to the Good News Club and was more closely aligned with our seven tenets and our beliefs,” she said.“So she reached out and asked if we can start an After School Satan Club at her kid’s elementary school, and so we went through the process and we lined up our volunteers to help with the club.
