Man charged with attempted murder in connection to Brampton shooting A man has been arrested in connected to a daylight shooting in Brampton that left a man with serious injuries.Police were called to McLaughlin Road and Bovaird Drive just after 3 p.m. on Sept. 13 to reports of an argument in the area.It’s alleged the suspect and the victim, who are believed to be unknown to each other, became involved in a verbal argument which led to the suspect shooting the victim several times.The victim was taken to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.The suspect has been identified as Damian Solomon, 23, of Brampton.Solomon turned himself in to police on Friday and is currently facing several charges including attempted murder with a firearm.He’s been held pending a bail hearing.

According to police, 41-year-old Boris Vasilic was arrested in the 6300 block of North Fransico Avenue around 10:44 a.m. and was identified as the man who, 30 minutes earlier, stabbed two men, 32 and 35, in the 2800 block of West Devon Street. 14-year-old boy fatally shot near Hillcrest HS ID’d: Police Vasilic was placed into custody and charged accordingly.
